About Me

Salams all!

I’m Hajra and I’m a cook-a-holic if there is such a thing 😊 There I said it..I’m also a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful girls..after much persuasion from friends, family and followers on Instagram and Twitter I have finally started on this blog. My love for cooking is not an overnight thing..it’s basically been a journey for the past 20 years.  Ive always enjoyed cooking for family and friends. My recipes are usually my own or adaptations from ones I find all over the place, and credit will be given if I use anyone’s recipes. I will post other random things aswell so won’t just be recipes. I hope you will enjoy and benefit from my blog. Please bear with me while I get my bearings with blogging. Any questions and I will try and reply as soon as I can.  Jazakallah for all your patience..much love 😘

    • Thanks for your comment, I have tried with low fat cream cheese previously but found it didn’t set aswell. It would be ok in individual shot glasses however when I made a large one it was a bit wobbly.

  5. Salams Hajra,

I just stumbled across your blog via twitter, you have some very good recipes up your sleeves, for a person who is lazy at cooking (doesn’t mean I’m not good at it), I want to try all your dishes (I can’t say the same about the baking!).

    Keep them coming πŸ™‚

    • Watermelon Mint Mojitos…quick and easy buts most of all refreshing!!

Chop up watermelon in chunks and add some water and blend, strain out so no pips remain…empty back into blender, add a scant handful of mint leaves, some sugar, ice and lemonade (u can use 7up or Sprite) a dash of lemon juice and blend…just taste to see if it’s sweet enough!!

      Enjoy πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰
